1. Open Settings → Mobile
Find out how much data you're using, set data restrictions, and manage service provider settings such as eSIM and Wi-Fi calling.

2. Scroll down → Add eSIM
TIPInstall on stable Wi-Fi. Airport / public Wi-Fi is often unstable and can fail the install.
You can transfer a phone number from a nearby phone or scan a QR code provided by your service provider.

Contact your service provider or visit their store to get instructions on how to set up your phone number on this iPhone. If you've already talked to your provider and have a QR code, you can scan it to get started.
4. Tap Scan QR Code
TIPCan't scan it? See the No QR code section to enter it manually.
Position the QR code provided by your service provider in the frame. You can also enter an activation code manually if you don't have the QR code.

6. Tap Continue
Your new eSIM from CMLink is ready to activate.
7. Wait — the eSIM activates
Select where you plan to use this eSIM.
Use this eSIM while in the country or region where you live.
Use this eSIM while travelling internationally.
8. Choose Abroad → Continue
Select which type of data plan you have for your travel eSIM.
Calling and text messaging are not included, but you can still browse the web, get directions and use other apps.

9. Choose Data Only → Continue
TIPTravel eSIMs are data-only — your home line still handles calls & texts.
Your CMLink eSIM is ready to use. iPhone will detect when you're abroad and remind you to turn on this plan if you haven't already.
10. Tap Done — you're set

11. Check the eSIM is installed
TIPIt shows under SIMs as a new line (name can vary). Off is normal — you'll turn it on after you land.
